Bring your own streams

Stream video straight from a magnet link.

Linkstreams plays video straight off the BitTorrent network, fetching pieces as you watch instead of waiting for a full download. Bring your own list and load it with a short Pastebin code in seconds. Nothing ships inside the app: no catalog, no account, no media backend.

100% free No account No watch tracking No media backend

On Smart TV, Fire TV and Android today. Desktop and mobile are on the way.

How it works

Three steps, a few minutes, no tech skills needed. No account and nothing to set up on a server.

1

Add your list

The app opens empty. You give it a “repo”, which is simply your own list of things to watch. Making one is free and takes a few minutes — we show you how just below.

2

Paste one short code

Every list comes with a short code, a bit like a password. Paste it into the app once and your titles and folders appear, each with a little bar that shows what will play smoothly.

3

Press play

Pick a title and it starts almost right away. The video streams as you watch, so it never fills up your device with a big download.

Make your list with Repo Creator

Repo Creator is a free tool that runs right in your web browser. Nothing to install, no account, and nothing ever leaves your device. If you can fill in a form, you can do this.

1

Add your titles

Open Repo Creator and name your list. Then drop in your video links and sort them into folders, just like tidying files on your computer. Each one is a “magnet link” — it starts with magnet:.

2

Tap Save

One click bundles your whole list into a single, harmless-looking block of text and copies it for you. It reads like ordinary writing, so your list stays private.

3

Get your key

Repo Creator hands you a button to a free site called Pastebin. Drop the text there and you get back a short code — that code is your key. Paste it into Linkstreams and your list appears. The tool walks you through every click.

What Linkstreams does

A focused player, built for the living room.

No full download

It fetches pieces in playback order and only grabs what you’re about to watch. You start in seconds, not after the whole file lands on disk.

Built-in player

Playback runs on media_kit with hardware decoding and wide codec support, HEVC 10-bit included. You don’t need to install a separate player.

Seed health at a glance

Every title shows how well it’s seeded, live. You can see what will play smoothly before you press play.

TV-first & remote-friendly

Everything works from a D-pad, with focus highlights you can actually see. Tuned for Fire TV and Android TV.

Your watch choices stay local

Linkstreams does not receive which repos you add, which magnet links you stream, or what you watch. Those choices stay on your device.

100% free, no account, no media backend

No fees, no subscription, no sign-up. There’s no Linkstreams server hosting your repos or media, so nothing to log into and nothing to pay for.

A tool, not a catalog

Linkstreams ships no content of its own and runs no index. Like any torrent client, it’s a neutral tool, and which magnet links you load is on you. Read the Terms of Use →

Frequently asked questions

Is Linkstreams legal?
The app itself is a neutral media player and network tool, much like a torrent client or a web browser. Whether a given use is legal depends on what you stream and the laws where you live. Stream only what you’re allowed to access.
Does the app come with content?
No. It starts completely empty. There’s no catalog and nothing preinstalled, so you bring your own magnet lists through a Pastebin repo.
What is a “repo”?
A repo is an unlisted or public Pastebin paste whose body is the text block exported by Linkstreams Repo Creator. The export is camouflaged as ordinary prose, so the paste reads like plain writing rather than a list of links and your repo stays private. You add its key in the app, and Linkstreams decodes it back into your titles, magnets and folders. Hosting one costs nothing, and you can share it with a short code.
Can others see my IP address?
BitTorrent is peer-to-peer, so other people in the same swarm can see your IP address, the same as with any torrent client. If that bothers you, run a trusted VPN. Linkstreams does not receive your repo contents, magnet links, or watch history.
Which devices are supported?
Right now the focus is Smart TV (Fire TV and Android TV) and Android. Because it’s built on Flutter, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux and the web are all on the table, and they’ll follow.
Does Linkstreams cost anything?
No. No fees, no subscription, no sign-up, nothing to cancel.
